Xiomara is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania and has lived in Philadelphia since 2018. She graduated from Columbia University in 2015 with a degree in Latin American studies, and has worked in education and translation. She is an Afro Puerto Rican writer, a communist committed to learning, a lover of food, sister to 5 siblings, and a budding organizer. Outside of her 9-5 and her work with PSL, Xio enjoys being mom to her dog Sade and her cat Joaquin.
