Socialist Roundtable 05: Adam Bailey and Lorenzo Pierce

This month in the Socialist Roundtable, we are joined by Adam Bailey, a building representative with the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers’ Local 3, and Lorenzo Pierce from the Philadelphia Liberation Center to discuss the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers’ struggle against an unsafe reopening of Philly schools. We’ll also be discussing the announcement of a new police station in Kensington, newly released reports on police conduct during the uprisings last summer, and steep increases in residential water prices in the City — another sign that the City government has left the financial burden of the pandemic for the working class to bear.
